PROF. Alvin orbaek white

Chief Executive and Chief Technology Officer

Dr Alvin Orbaek White is an Associate Professor and former Sêr Cymru II Fellow at Swansea University. He recently arrived at the Energy Safety Research Institute (ESRI) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA, USA) Department of Mechanical Engineering. Before this, he earned a PhD in Chemistry from Rice University (Houston, TX, USA) where he specialised in the growth and application of carbon nanomaterials.

Alvin has contributed to two articles written by the UK Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST), one dealing with digital ledger technologies (POST-PB-0028), and another about plastic waste (POST-PN-0605).
